In September we will be trying to set up 6 teams of teen volunteers.
We
will start with 6 teen leaders. Each leader will recruit and organize a team of
about 6 more teen volunteers. Each team will run a section of the food drive
program focused around one of the 6 collection sites. The list of
responsibilities will include some or all of the following tasks. Recruit
volunteer youth service organizations from an assigned list.
Communication
skill: Present Food Drive Program by phone and
at meetings of various
organizations.
Make group assignments between September 1 to
November 21.which requires my final approval. Analytical skills to assign groups
to mapped area close to where they meet
without overlapping assignments.
Customize parcel maps for each groups assignment.
Order, collect and distribute bags for their
groups between November 14th to February 6th.
Communication skill: Provide an
accurate estimate for the number of bags
needed for their area. Schedule bag
distribution for each
organization within the specified time frame.
Staff and manage collection site Collection from Feb1 to Mar 6th.
Appointing a team leader to assign tasks at the
collection
site which include bringing appropriate supplies to the
site,
sorting food, unloading and loading vans and directing traffic.
Please Arrange site staff by November 21. Manage site on collection date.
